Not only does the Hooligan Roll's grab range not suck, it is actually better than it was in Super Turbo, and it has more priority now (eg. I've grabbed people out of uppercuts and supers).

You can cancel [i.e. 2 in 1 off of] her jabs [LPs], shorts [LKs], close standing fierce [HP], as well as her close standing strong [MP], low strong [MP], and close standing forward [MK]. No luck on the low forward [MK] though. :(
